This legendary event is well-known for its robust live and silent auctions, casino games, gourmet food and drinks, and inspirational programming. The Lucky Hearts Gala has become one of Northern Colorado’s premier charity events so don’t miss this evening of fun and FUNding! Come meet and mingle with our emcee, Ann Judge equine trainer and rider of the Denver Broncos mascot Thunder, and get in on the action with our favorite auctioneer, John Clatworthy!

If you're not able to make the in-person event, you can still participate in the celebration by bidding in our silent auction! The silent auction will be online so anyone, near or far, can participate and support the Hearts & Horses mission. Bidding starts September 8th and concludes September 13, 2025 at 9:30 pm.

This year our goal is to raise $700,000 of vital funding for our programming and operational needs!

Last year, we served 640 participants and we NEVER turn a participant away due to inability to pay, and that’s thanks to supporters like YOU! This event is vital to supporting the organization’s programs throughout the year. Hearts & Horses serves all age groups in our community – veterans, people with physical and cognitive disabilities, seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia, and at-risk youth – all in partnership with an amazing herd of equines. 💙 ➕ 🐎

Who Do We Serve?
At Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center, our mission is to enhance physical, cognitive and emotional wellbeing through equine partnerships. We serve the Northern Colorado region and have participants in four counties!

Where Does the Funding Go? 
Hearts & Horses fundraises nearly ⅔ of the cost of all services, and 53% of our participants need additional financial support through our scholarship program. Last year alone we awarded $537,808 in scholarships. When you donate to Hearts & Horses you can feel assured that your donation is being put to great use! For each dollar donated, 88 cents goes straight to programming.

If you are local: We will have multiple dates/times available for silent auction items to be picked up from the Hearts & Horses property! Stay tuned for more details!

If you are not local: If you’d like the items shipped to you, email auction@heartsandhorses.org to set up shipping arrangements! Please note, all items to be shipped at the winner's expense.
