The legendary Hearts & Horses Lucky Hearts Gala will be back in the saddle this year with an in-person event! It is Hearts & Horses 25th anniversary of serving our community and we cannot think of a better way to celebrate than sharing an evening of fun & FUNding with you, our generous supporters! Come meet and mingle with our emcee, former Colorado Rockies Outfielder and current Rockies Sports broadcaster Ryan Spilborghs, and get in on the action with our favorite auctioneer, John Clatworthy!
If you're not able to make the in-person event, you can still participate in the celebration by bidding in our silent auction! The silent auction will be online so anyone, near or far, can participate and support the Hearts & Horses mission. Bidding starts September 19th and concludes September 24, 2022 at 10 pm.
This year our goal is to raise $556,000 of vital funding for our programming and operational needs!
Each year we serve 1000 participants and we NEVER turn a participant away due to inability to pay, and that’s thanks to supporters like YOU! This event is vital to supporting the organization’s programs throughout the year. Hearts & Horses serves all age groups in our community – veterans, people with physical and cognitive disabilities, seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia, and at-risk youth – all in partnership with an amazing herd of equines. 💙 ➕ 🐎
Who Do We Serve?
At Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center, our mission is to promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social well-being of people with special needs through equine-assisted services. We serve the Northern Colorado region and have participants in four counties!
Where Does the Funding Go?
Hearts & Horses fundraises ⅔ of the cost of all services, and 56% of our participants need additional financial support through our scholarship program. Last year alone we awarded $309,445 in scholarships. When you donate to H&H you can feel assured that your donation is being put to great use! For each dollar donated, 87 cents goes straight to programming.

If you are local: We will have multiple dates/times available for silent auction items to be picked up from the Hearts & Horses property! Stay tuned for more details!
If you are not local: If you’d like the items shipped to you, email auction@heartsandhorses.org to set up shipping arrangements! Please note, all items to be shipped at the winner's expense.
